I am my Ancestor’s Wildest Dream
Michelle Wedderburn, the visionary behind Casa ELM Boutique Guesthouse, has called San Miguel de Allende, Mexico her home since 2018, alongside her son. During these years, she has curated a brand that embodies their unique perspective on life, reflecting the warmth and embrace they’ve discovered in Mexican culture. Michelle wears multiple hats as a guesthouse proprietor and relocation advisor, finding her true purpose in these roles.
Through fostering connections within the expatriate community, Michelle not only cultivates a sense of belonging but also acts as a catalyst for their collective journey. Viewing herself as a healer, she offers comfort to those seeking a reprieve from the stresses of American life, embracing the opportunity for a fresh start abroad. Michelle’s time in Mexico has been an enriching experience, enhanced by the supportive community that surrounds her.
"San Miguel de Allende has become our cherished new home. In 2018, after 1.5 years of meticulous planning and 6 months of packing, downsizing, and preparing for our move abroad, my son and I finally arrived in San Miguel de Allende. Since then, life has been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I am deeply grateful for the experiences we've had in Mexico.
As the Founder of Casa ELM in San Miguel, we have had the privilege of being a part of countless journeys of individuals relocating to this vibrant city. I extend my heartfelt thanks to those who dare to live beyond the ordinary, seeking purpose in healing and the creation of community. Located on the 2nd floor, our Junior King Suite I offers the option to convert king to twin beds as needed, plus large double sink private bath, and a serene front garden view.
Junior King Suite II
Located on the 2nd floor, our Junior King Suite II offers the option to convert king bed to twin beds as needed, with a private bathroom and view of the lake.
King Suite
Located on the 2nd floor, experience the ultimate in luxury, architecture and this beautiful spacious room. Relax within our King Suite, featuring stunning sunset, peek-a-boo lake and garden views.
