Thank you for choosing Casa ELM. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your event or using our services. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site.
Online Site Usage
The services on this site are available only to individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. By using the site, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter contracts and are authorized to make reservations for yourself or others you represent.
Property Guidelines
Casa ELM is a guesthouse in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and it is open year-round with accommodations based on availability. Michelle Wedderburn, Casa ELM’s owner, provides assistance as the host and she and her staff serve as a point of contact during your stay.
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, please adhere to the following:
Communicate reservation changes, special requests, and check-in/out times in advance via email.
Additional guests must be disclosed before arrival, and any associated charges will apply.
Treat the property and its content with respect. Clean up after yourself and promptly report damages or issues to your host.
Respect the privacy of your host, fellow guests and neighbors by avoiding loud noises or disturbances and their rooms. Additional visitors require prior permission to access Casa ELM.
Share honest and constructive feedback after your stay to help future guests make informed decisions.

Deposits
A deposit or payment in full is required to secure all reservations/experiences. Taxes are added to deposit and will also be added to the balance amount included in the deposit amount. Deposits for your invoice must be made by the due date. Failure to pay within the timeframe may result in cancellation of invoice, forfeiture of the deposit, and voiding of the contract. Casa ELM is not responsible for any resulting loss. A credit may be applied at the discretion of Casa ELM.
Taxes and Additional Fees
All reservations are subject to a 6% municipal tax as mandated by San Miguel de Allende authorities. Taxes will be added to your total before finalizing your booking. Depending on your party size or event package, an administrative fee and tip for staff may also be applied.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits and payments are non-refundable. If you cancel or reschedule, the balance paid will be credited for use within 180 days of the original reservation date. After 180 days, the credit will expire. Late arrivals or early departures will not result in refunds.
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise and are happy to assist on a case-by-case basis to find the best solution. For any reservation changes, please notify us as early as possible.
